INCREASE IN TURNOVER AND TOTAL ESTIMATED INCOME FOR THE TAX YEAR 21/22

José María Cruz, Sevilla FC general director announced a turnover of 208.6 million euros and a budget estimate of 242.7 million euros

At the 2021 Sevilla FC General Shareholders' Meeting the budget for the 21/22 financial year was formulated by the board of directors and explained in detail by José María Cruz, general director of Sevilla FC. It was a budget proposal for the current financial year with estimated income and spending at 242.7 million euros, increased by 50 million euros from 20/21. Additionally, turnover is projected to be 208.5 million euros compared to 170 million from the year before.

José María Cruz detailed how profits on transfer fees are estimated to be 31.3 million euros, of which 20 million has been obtained, as well as income of 2.9 million from youth players. At the same time, Cruz explained how the cost of the first-team squad with salaries and bonuses will be 119 million euros, in addition to 61 million euros for operating costs. All of this explained Cruz, is estimated with the best-case scenario in mind related to the economic situation of football after the covid-19 pandemic. 

The Sevilla general director also added that there is expected to be 83 million in income from competitions, 13.2 million already raised from season tickets, in addition to almost 20 million from sponsorship and marketing and going from 82 million to 92 million euros for broadcasting income. All of this will mean reducing losses from 41 million to 0. José María Cruz said that "whatever the improvements in commercial income, capital gains from transfers and from the good performance of the team in competitions will help to increase the profit that will be in line with what was normal prior to covid-19."
