AN INSIGNIA OF GREATNESS TO SHINE IN THE EUROPA LEAGUE

UEFA have announced a list of new rules that will apply in the 18/19 edition of the Europa League this Tuesday. One of their changes directly affects Sevilla FC as the most successful club in the tournament's history. All those clubs who have won the Europa League three times consecutively, or have won the tournament a minimum of five times in total (including the UEFA Cup format) will be entitled to wear a special insignia on their sleeve. Sevilla is the only club to qualify under both conditions and will consequently wear the badge in future participations in the competition.
