NOVEMBER INTERNATIONAL DIARY FOR OUR EIGHT PLAYERS

There will be a total of 12 games across three confederations involving our international players

Eight first-team players have been called by their respective national teams ahead of the upcoming November international break.

Our first Sevillistas are in action on Thursday, beginning with Iheanacho's Nigeria facing Benin. The Super Eagles are looking for the point that with secure qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Should Rwanda not beat Libia earlier in the day they will also qualify. Despite it being a home game for Benin, the game will take place at the Stade Felix Houphouet Boigny in the Ivory Coast. Nigeria will then face Rwanda on Monday 18 November at home at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium at 17:00 CET. 

Also on Thursday at 20:45 CET Lukebakio and Lokonga's Belgium face Italy at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. Domenico Tedesco's side are looking to avoid relegation to League B in the UEFA Nations League and keep their slim hopes of qualifying for the quarterfinals. Group leaders Italy face France on the final matchday while Belgium face Israel, who are currently bottom on 0 points, in Budapest at 20:45 CET. 

Lukebakio and Lokonga will be the first European players in action 

In the early hours of Friday morning, the CONMEBOL qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup begin involving Montiel and Argentina who currently have a three-point lead over Colombia at the top of the group. They visit Paraguay at 00.30 CET at the Estadio Defensores del Chaco in Asunción. The reigning world champions will then face Peru at the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires at 1:00 CET on Wednesday morning. 

Our final four players to be involved play on Friday. Lucien Agoumé's France Under-21s have two friendlies, first up against Italy in Empoli at 16:15 CET and then against Germany on Tuesday 19 November at 18:15 CET. Spain Under-21s also have two friendlies with Juanlu and Kike Salas included in Santi Denia's squad, although Carmona has withdrawn with a sprain. Denia's side will face England in La Linea at 18:30 CET and then Denmark on Tuesday 19 November in Albacete. Lastly, Gudelj's Serbia are in action in UEFA Nations League League A. They are third, with the possibility of qualification for the quarterfinals but also the threat of relegation to League B. On Friday they visit bottom of the group Switzerland at 20:45 in Zurich, before finishing at home on Monday against Denmark, currently second, at the same time in Leskovac.

A number of reserve and academy players have also been called up to their respective national teams. Leandro Antonetti has once again been included in Puerto Rico's squad, as they look to advance in their CONCACAF Nations League group and will face Aruba and Haiti. Robert Jalade, meanwhile, has been called up by Romania Under-20s for their two Elite League matches against Portugal and Italy respectively.
