Nemanja Gudelj was the first of Sevilla's internationals to complete a double header during the September international break. He did so on Sunday night in Kaunas, where Serbia beat Lithuania 3-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Aleksandar Mitrovic. The Sevilla player played the full 90 minutes as he did against Hungary, albeit this time as a central midfielder alongside Ivan Ilic, as opposed to a central defender like last Thursday.
With these three points, Serbia are now level at the top of the group with Hungary. On Tuesday it will be the turn of the other four Sevilla internationals, En-Nesyri, Lukebakio, Nyland and Sow. In addition, Sevilla Atlético centre-back Leo Mascaró could make his debut for the Belarus senior team against Israel.
