Cristian Toro spoke to the media after suffering defeat to UDG Tenerife on Sunday. The Sevilla boss commented on the game at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López and started by saying "there were some chances in the first half, it was an open game and we feel wounded with the loss. There was a period in which we were lacking concentration in both attack and defence and not winning our fifty-fifties, we wanted to come and compete and now on Wednesday there's a chance for us to get to the semifinals and we are looking forward to the work ahead."
Toro went further into detail about the cup tie where we will play the same opponents: "It's a different scene, our opponents are in great form as a collective and we have to be strong and go into it with a positive mindset. We had a lot of chances, we lacked some conviction in the final third and now we have to fight, put things on the line and look to get to the semifinals, which would be brilliant."
Furthermore, the boss highlighted that "we always want to win and we work hard to execute the match plan. The match was up and down and intense. Like I said, we lacked conviction and it hurts us as we want to get through, but it's over now and we will work every day because we want to go for it all. Wednesday will be a match apart, another type of environment and we will give 100%. Today, we managed to pull off some things we have been working on and it leaves us with the feeling that we can get through."
