Marcos Acuña felt that focus should have been sharper: "It was more a lack of concentration on our behalf than anything else, we weren't able to adapt to what Celta were trying to do. We had clear chances and missed them, but when that happens you have to stay focused. We missed out on what would have been a very important win."

Nemanja Gudelj then admitted that "it was a tough afternoon and a poor performance. We had opportunities to kill the game when we were ahead despite not playing well. We should have seen it out. A comeback like that is difficult to take. The foul on [Dodi] Lukébakio was a penalty, it looked like he slipped but the defender clearly kicks him. I was very surprised when they overturned the decision."
