The President of Sevilla FC was "extremely excited" by the arrival of Chicharito

The President, José Castro, spoke in front of the cameras during Chicarito's presentation. He spoke of the planning over the summer in general firstly: "I believe that we are all a part of this management. We were aware that there was going to be a change. There has been 13 arrivals and after all the work, we're happy with what has been done. There's always room for improvement in a year where there has been a lot of changes; and that has left us with a squad that we wish to be as competitive as possible".

Moreover, he praised the work done by Monchi during the period: "It's has been a summer when a lot of work has been done. This is due to the wisdom of Monchi with a lot signings and a lot of departures. The balance is good, economically we have had to fight a lot. We have all contributed to be able to have, in an economic sense, the squad that we have now".

Regarding the arrival of Chicharito, Castro was again questioned about Dabbur: "It's already been said that Munas is not going to be leaving Sevilla in any shape or form".

To finish off, he showed his delight for the work done and the signings in the summer transfer market: "Monchi doesn't stop and with so many things going on, you can't relax. The relentless work has been important. The Sevilla FC society is dedicated to football and football is number one. I am extremely satisfied and whatever happens, I am very excited for what is to come".
