"To the Sevillistas - and forgive my voice because I am hoarse from so much shouting and joy - I say that we have fought a great team with a huge budget. We have had to dig deep because they have a lot of quality. I tell them to enjoy the victory, to take steps to reach what we have already reached, such a complicated final. When we get to a final, all we have to do is win it, and generally we do win them".
JOSÉ CASTRO: "BRINGING IT BACK TO SEVILLA WOULD BE IMMENSE"
As always, the Chairman remembered the fans: "What we're experiencing is magnificent and it's a shame our fans aren't here experiencing it. 2020 is like that and at least we made up for some of that suffering. We've given them the possibility of reaching another final and you have to remember the fans, who are why we're going to get this for sure. Some time we will be able to share all this that we're experiencing".
"Some time we will be able to share all this with our people"
It was a very different semi final: "I can imagine what the houses, bars and supporters clubs will be like in Sevilla, wherever the Sevillistas are. Enjoying such a difficult win against an opponent whose budget is tripe what ours is. That's football, Sevilla FC is in this vortex of trying to achieve everything and, with this faith, desire, excitement and comradeship, we are much closer. We've reached a final in which we could get some silverware. I hope we can bring it back to Sevilla, it would be immense".
There is talk of those signs that have appeared so many times... but none of that comes without earning it: "The signs keep coming but they are based on effort, work and being a team. At Sevilla, from the first employee to the last player, we all work for the same thing. I feel tremendously proud to have collaborated with anything, so that we all look in the same direction. The only way of achieving such difficult triumphs is down to using our weapons better and having unity between every one of us. We must never lose that so that we can continue to strive for ever greater heights".
