JOVETIC: “THE RESULT WASN'T A TRUE REFLECTION”

Stevan Jovetic was on the scoresheet in Sevilla's 4-1 defeat against Real Madrid on Sunday night.

The on-loan Inter Milan striker hit the bar and the post before dispatching an excellently-taken effort early in the second half at the Bernabéu.

"We deserved a lot more," he said. "The result isn't a true refelection, we hit the woodwork twice and I had other chances.

"They made the most of their opportunities, all of them, but that's football."

Nacho handed Real Madrid the lead in controversial circumstances with a free kick, and Jovetic gave his thoughts on the incident.

"I can't say if the referee got in the way or not, but we can't concede a goal like that," he commented.

Asked about his future, Jovetic added: "We're going to talk about it, I give 100% here and I'm happy with what I've done up to now."
