Stevan Jovetic, without hiding his disappointment at the draw against Sporting, tried to send a message of optimism looking ahead to the closing stages of the season when he spoke to the media in the mixed zone: "We're all sad because only the goal was missing. If we'd scored one we could have scored more, especially in the second half, because they always defended, they also wasted time, it wasn't easy to play but we created a lot. We were only lacking the goal, but we'll look for it in the next game".
He explained: "It's not easy, we all thought we were going to go through against Leicester, it's difficult for us to accept that, we have to get out of it, because we're the same as we were five matches ago when we were second. We need to win a match with two or three goals to get our confidence back".
Focusing on the immediate future, he commented that he's eagerly awaiting "the match against Barcelona because it's a huge match and I hope we can do well. Our aim is third place, it's going to be difficult, but we're there".
