Sevilla's coach acknowledged that his team 'has to improve in many areas'

Julen Lopetegui spoke to the media after the defeat against Elche CF. He began saying 'my feelings aren't positive given we wanted to win this game, even though we knew how difficult it would be. We started the game really badly and they punished us in the second half and we woke up and played with our hearts in the last 15 minutes. We need to improve, recover and focus on the next game.'

Lopetegui finished the interview saying the team must focus on recovering for what's to come: 'We are feeling bad now but we must get back up and ready for the Champions League on Tuesday. We are super motivated and we will work on the players' mental and physical recovery.'
