Sevilla FC boss, Julen Lopetegui, spoke about the victory against Granada CF: "We deserved the three points. There have been too many ups and downs, too many alternatives for what we would have liked. They scored from their only chance and we managed to equalise and create chances to get the second. The third as well which was disallowed for something that happened well before the goal. In Vallecas they fouled Agustinsson and gave a goal. The team showed courage and ambition to get the three points."

"We are going through a season full of injuries and refereeing decisions going against us. It is hard to be a referee. Lately, or for quite some time, we had a lot of decisions go against us. I have what happened to Lude, the penalty, engraved in the back of my mind... But today isn't the day to look back on that but to highlight the character and mentality of the team during tough times. It is incredible what is happening with the injuries, it would be difficult for it to happen again... The team shows character and continues fighting. There are seven finals to go," he added.

In closing, Lopetegui spoke on the encouragement from the stands and on Diego Carlos' substitution: "The fans were ten out of ten. They motivated us even when we were drawing 2-2 and they gave us the necessary energy. Our fans are decisive and we thank them for all their support. They gave us so much support.
