JULEN LOPETEGUI: 'WE CONCEDED GOALS WE DIDN'T DESERVE TO BUT THIS GAME PUNISHES ERRORS'

'The crowd's energy is key for us - it is an advantage out on the pitch and we have to make the most of it'

Sevilla FC coach Julen Lopetegui analysed the 5-3 win this Sunday over Levante UD: 'We played really well. A lot of things happened, too many! We conceded goals we didn't deserve to but this game punishes errors. We played a great match full of character. We attacked from all angles and we were really aggressive. The only negative was that the match seemed tight at times. The game got a bit too crazy for our liking but we can learn from that.'

'The crowd's energy is key for us - it is an advantage out on the pitch and we have to make the most of it. We had lots of chances - we worked our attacks well and we played as a team. The players were really thankful for the crowd's passion today,' Lopetegui added.

Regarding En-Nesyri's injury and his inclusion in the squad, Julen said 'it was a bit too risky to bring him on. Even if the game had have went the other way today wasn't the day to bring him on. We want to see more development on that front.'

To finish up, he said: 'Now we need to make the most of the rest and recharge our batteries. Every match is a battle and now we go to Mallorca who deserved to win away to Valencia yesterday.'
