Julen Lopetegui was satisfied after the win against RCD Mallorca: "Every match is very important, Mallorca were playing for their lives and every match is a final. The team worked very hard in the match, and were fully deserving of the win".
LOPETEGUI: "THE TEAM HAS ALWAYS SHOWN FEELINGS OF BEING ABLE TO COMPETE WITH ANYONE"
The manager highlighted the strong form of the team, who are unbeaten since the restart: "We had games that we drew where we could have won, but throughout the season we have had feelings of being able to compete with anyone, by having a good mentality. We're dedicating this to the Chairman's uncle, Antonio Carmona, who passed away a few days ago, we know it was him who made him a Sevillista".
Lopetegui was also keen to mention that the side are still a point away from securing UCL qualification, and will go all out against Real Sociedad: "We have to go into every game looking to win, we still need one point. No one will give us anything and we have to win there".
To conclude, he again highlighted the team's effort and their clean sheet: "Clean sheets are always important, the team is a team in every sense, attacking and defending well. Everyone is committed and we have to keep being like that".
