LOPETEGUI: "THERE IS NO OTHER WAY OF FACING BARCELONA THAN GOING TO THE LIMIT IN EVERYTHING"

Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla FC manager, has given his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow's match against FC Barcelona, at the Camp Nou at 21:00 CEST. He began his press conference by declaring that "last year's match is not a reference, this is a new match. Our opponents are very good, with a new manager and renewed energy, they are displaying some very good things. Every match is a new one and a new opportunity. We have to think about playing well against a magnificent opponent and being capable of going to the limit, there's no other way of facing Barcelona. We have to go to the limit in all footballing senses, but the past will not help us".

"Departures or signings is Monchi's business, we have full confidence in him, he knows what we need and we are at 100%, with all five senses focused on the match against Barcelona. The important ones are those who are here, who are going to help us in tomorrow's game

He spoke about the travelling squad and his red card against Levante UD: "Carlos Fernández has already trained with everyone, but Bryan hasn't. I would rather experience the match in the dugout, there's more possibilities to be connected with the team, but I'm banned and I have to improve and learn. Anyway, the important ones are the ones on the pitch, the players".

The manager also responded to a question about the amount of minutes that Jesús Navas has played: "Jesús has played it all, it's true, even with the national team, because he deserves it. He is an important player for us and will continue to be one, without a doubt".

To finish, Lopetegui spoke about the suspension of FC Barcelona defender Lenglet: "They do have a player ruled out, but they have a large squad with depth, with great players.
