"In the second half we were the better team, but they made it difficult for us"

Julen Lopetegui spoke to the media after last night's draw in El Sadar: "It was a very demanding game, they ask a lot of you at home. At the end I think we deserved the three points, we had the clearer opportunities - especially in the second half. In the second half we were superior against a team who we knew would make it difficult for us".

The most disappointing part for Lopetegui were the missed chances: "When you come to win, you feel that we left two points out there. They were better at the start of the game, and then we grew into it. It was difficult to find any rhythm, and then the game changed after they went down to ten men. Before the second yellow I think we were managing the second half much better".

It was Sevilla's lack of ruthlessness that led them to not take home all three points from Osasuna: "Their 'keeper made two or three good saves when we were on top. We had a lot of chances but at the end, we only come away with a point. We need to keep on improving, and remember that this is a difficult place to come. Kounde's change was tactical".
