Pablo Machín, Sevilla FC's manager, was at Cadena SER on Thursday, where he analysed how the team is doing: 'The most ambitious one is myself and then I try to transfer that to the players, but we have to be conscious of the fact that there is always a limit. We have an obligation to be in Europe. It's difficult to say that we're going to be competing for La Liga until the end. I hope we can improve on last year and get into the Champions League.'
'Everyone wants the best players to make up a strong squad. In the middle of the park we have Gonalons, who can give us a lot but we haven't been able to see much of him because of the injury. In defence we certainly need reinforcements. The advantage that we have now is that we can think about whether we still need the things we wanted before,' commented the manager.
The Soria native also explained that 'I accept that people need to be excited and that we can be capable of anything, but the objective is to win the next game. When it gets towards the end of the season, the table will show us what can be achieved.'
