According to the Sevilla FC medical department, the injuries suffered by three of Sevilla's internationals, Mercado, Rami and Jovetic, will keep them out of action for the immediate future.
Mercado, who on Friday suffered a grade I injury to his right hamstring with Argentina, will require a recovery period of around three weeks. Tests revealed that Rami, for his part, suffered a grade I-II injury to his right calf in a training session with France on Sunday. The Frenchman could be out for between three and four weeks.
As far as Jovetic is concerned, the forward picked up an injury during a training session with Montenegro on Wednesday 22 March. He suffered a grade I-II injury to his right tibialis posterior muscle. He could return within two weeks, depending on how his recovery progresses.
