Good news for Gabriel Mercado, who is now resting at home after being discharged from hospital this morning. The Argentine defender was successfully operated on this Monday to fix a fractured ulna in his right arm. His time out will depend on the development of the injury.
On the other hand, Sergio Escudero has undergone new tests to rule out a fracture in his left elbow. The results do not show a fracture, however the MRI he was going to get has been delayed for another week so he can move his arm more freely, as the test must be carried out with his arm fully extended. That will be when a fracture can be definitively ruled out.
