Gabriel Mercado was clear following Sevilla's loss to Valencia this weekend: "It's not what we needed. Our intention at all times was to press because we didn't have a better opportunity than this but we couldn't take advantage of it. In the first-half going 0-1 down was undeserved but we didn't have the strength to turn the result around".
