Speaking to the press following Sevilla FC's painful defeat against Valencia this Saturday, the Italian coach, Vincenzo Montella put the loss down to a lack of precision: "I'm extremely disappointed with the loss, just as much as the players, we played a good match but we must congratulate Valencia. We controlled the game but we couldn't find the back of the net when the opportunities presented themselves. It's disappointing, but we need to keep moving forward".
Asked about fourth place, Montella made clear: "It's tough, we're far off and Valencia are undoubtedly a great team. We need to play each match as it comes and continue moving upwards". The team now needs to "forget this disappointing result and start preparing for Tuesday when we will face a huge opponent and we want to give it our best", concluded the coach.
