MONTELLA: “IN THE SECOND-HALF WE LOST INTENSITY AND IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO PLAY LIKE THAT”

Vincenzo Montella spoke to the press following a chaotic loss to Real Betis: "A result that hits us very hard, we're very upset. Now we need to continue working and I'm sure things are going to improve".

The new coach said the team had "played the first-half with a lot of intensity - something which we lost a bit in the second-half which made things very difficult.  We created a lot of chances but we didn't score and that's something we should improve. Like the final ball".

On the fans and the pain of a derby defeat: "We're going to work to take away the pain that they feel now"
