Sevilla FC coach, Vincenzo Montella, spoke positively following his side's victory tonight over Málaga: "It was an important victory at a delicate time. The team could've done more but I am happy and ready to face our next game. We struggled at the end but we have been extremely focussed and we didn't want to put anything at risk".
"Referees can get it wrong. We never expect them to blow the whistle against anybody. We should accept the mistakes as part of the game", explained Montella, referring to the referee's decision making.
The Italian brought things to a close by commenting on the recent signings that made tonight's squad: "Arana did a great job, an excellent one considering it was his first game. Defence, playing for the first time as a unit, also played well".
