MONTIEL, ACUÑA AND PAPU CALLED UP FOR ARGENTINA'S QATAR 2022 QUALIFIERS

The three Sevilla players were called up by Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni for matches against Venezuela, Brazil and Bolivia

Lionel Scaloni has released the Argentina squad ahead of their Qatar 2022 qualifiers in which they will play against Venezuela, Brazil and Bolivia. Montiel, Acuña and Papu have been called up after all three lifted the Copa América this summer.

Argentina will play the first match against Venezuela on 2 September. Three days later on the 5th, they will return to the Maracaná to face Brazil in a re-run of the Copa América final. The last match will come against Bolivia on the 9th.

Acuña has the most caps out of the three with 29. He is followed by Gonzalo Montiel who at 24-years-old has played 12 times, while Papu sits on seven caps.
