A delegation from the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication made an official visit to the club and the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium on Thursday. They were welcomed by club president José María del Nido Carrasco. The meeting took place as part of a programme by the Moroccan government with the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies and the Regional Government of Andalucía. Santiago Reyes Díaz, the Coordinator of Programs and European Funds, acted as the liaison for the visit. The visit follows a trip made by Vice President José Castro to Morocco earlier this year.
The representatives of the Moroccan ministry learned firsthand from several club officials about the main guidelines of the strategic internationalisation plan that the club is implementing, especially in terms of Morocco, a country where there is an increasing connection. They also learned in detail about the organization of the Mundialito de la Inmigración, which has been coordinated by the Sevilla FC Foundation for several decades.
