In terms of his individual performance, and after playing 90 minutes, he said he felt 'very active until the end when my legs began to give out. I hadn't played for a long time and it was tough, I'm not at full fitness yet.'
Regarding the match, he said 'we played well and we're happy to have qualified. We have to keep going.' The next test for Sevilla comes this Saturday in the Santiago Bernabéu: 'We're going to play like we do in every match, aiming for all three points and I hope we do.'
