Luis Muriel appeared in the Mixed Zone after the defeat in Russia against FC Krasnodar. The Colombian striker was annoyed with the result despite the team's attitude: 'We suffered a bit at the start. We got the goal to put us in front, we kept it up for a long period and we're annoyed because some important points have got away from us.'
Likewise, the attacker went into how the game developed: 'They pressed well, they came into the game strongly without giving us a chance to get out, we tried to hit them on the counter. I think we did so well and we managed to put ourselves in front. After all we went through in the game we deserve more than this, at the end of the game we missed out on a point that would've been important.'
Muriel also commented on how he was doing personally, being optimistic with what he produced out on the pitch today: 'After two months without starting or playing a full game I feel good. A bit tired at the end, with some cramps, but I'm working in the best way I can so that when the boss needs me I'm ready to give my best.'
To finish, the Colombian forward touched on his partnership with Quincy Promes: 'We worked well together, trying to help out in defence and break quickly on the counter to hurt them. We managed to in some phases, we had some chances to score and we leave angry because after our big effort the game has got away from us.'
