FC Krasnodar trained on Wednesday evening at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán just after the official press conference, which their manager Murad Musayev attended together with the goalkeeper Stanislav Kritsyuk. The goalkeeper made it clear that 'we're 100% motivated and we'll play the way we're used to.' Even though only a freak result would leave his team eliminated, Kritsyuk does not want any complacency: 'Nothing has been decided yet. We're going to give everything and we'll always go with the same attitude, regardless of the result.'
For his part, the manager emphasised that 'we have similar ideas to those of Sevilla. There are things we have in common even though we have a different style of play.' Although a draw would be enough to guarantee them first place in the group, Musayev insists that 'our objective is to win. We've done good work in 2018 and now is not the time to save our strength.' Finally, he confirmed the absence through injury of Ari, Krasnodar's top scorer: 'He's in his country and will not be playing.'
