UEFA's panel of experts have once again chosen the UEFA Europa League's individual awards, which were announced on Sunday by the governing body. As is to be expected, Sevilla FC are particularly well represented in these awards, starting with the best player of the tournament. This is none other than Jesús Navas, who at 37 years of age has won his fourth title in this competition, the second that he himself has lifted at the award ceremony. Although his team only already entered the knockout phase of the competition, Navas has played nine UEL matches this season - 65 in total as a Sevilla player - and provided three assists.
UEFA has also published the team of the season of this year's competition, which of course includes Jesús Navas, but he is by no means the only representative of the Nervión team. Yassine Bono at goalkeeper, Marcos Acuña at left-back and Ivan Rakitic in midfield also feature. The rest of the squad is made up of Roma's Smalling, Matic, Pellegrini and Dybala; Bayer Leverkusen's Tah, Manchester United's Rashford and Union Saint-Gilloise's Boniface.
