JESÚS NAVAS: "WHAT I CAN BRING MOST TO THE NATIONAL TEAM IS EXPERIENCE AND HOPE"

Jesús Navas spoke on Saturday in the press room of the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, where the Spanish national team are preparing for the final stage of the UEFA Nations League, which will be held in the Netherlands. The Sevilla captain emphasized his excitement about this comeback, saying, 'Being here is something very significant, and we are just two matches away from a title. We have to live it with maximum intensity and go all out.'"

Looking back at his debut back in 2009 with the national team, he acknowledged that "everything is a learning experience. Being able to enjoy the national team and the titles here is a pride. Now, I am fully enjoying a new opportunity and that title that is so close to us." Alongside Jordi Alba, he is the only representative from the last championship-winning side in the 2012 Euros held in Poland and Ukraine."In 2012, we had a tremendous run, and now we have many players of that same caliber, young and hungry. We need to convey to them that we have a unique opportunity and go all out."

Talking about Luis de la Fuente, Navas highlighted "the energy, work, and humility that he brings to us. We are all eager, and he is with us every step of the way." Furthermore, he was asked about the change in mentality of Sevilla FC in recent months: "We knew there was a team capable of achieving great things, and the coach has given us the calmness to move forward. As a result, we have achieved that important title for us."
