Here we go again. After what seems like every Sevilla FC game, we're here talking about another record of Jesús Navas. Although it may seem that there are few records left to beat, Sunday's victory in El Gran Derbi over our biggest rivals allows us to talk about another record for the 'recordman'. Only a few weeks ago, against Getafe CF, Navas equalled the record of 171 set by Juan Arza, the three points against Betis allow him to now boast that record and have it as his own, as having won the most games in the first division of any Sevilla player ever. The man, who doesn't seem to be affected by time nor age, now has an astonishing record of 172 wins in La Liga.
The player who has donned the Sevilla jersey more times than any other, has in his sights other records that could be his in the next few weeks. Soon enough, he will bring up nothing less than 500 official games for his boyhood club. Although it's no longer breaking news that he has broken another record, the scary thing is that he still has time to go on to break even more.
