NEFTÇI PFK OR ÚJPEST FC IN THE EUROPA LEAGUE ON THE 26TH OF JULY IN NERVIÓN

The winner of the clash between the Azerbaijani and Hungarian sides will be Sevilla FC's opponents in the opening of the UEFA Europa League campaign for the 2018/19 season. The second-leg will be away from home

Sevilla FC will kick off the 2018/19 season on the 26th of July in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán in the UEFA Europa League; they have been drawn against the winner of Neftçi PFK vs Újpest FC. The second-leg of the tie will take place a week after the first.

Neftçi PFK finished third in the Azerbaijani league this year, and coincidentally, should Sevilla have to travel there for the second-leg, they will play in the host-city for the final.

For their part, Újpest FC, based in Budapest, were the third Hungarian team to qualify, though they did so as domestic cup champions. It would represent Sevilla's first ever official fixture on Hungarian soil.
