The ball that will be used this season, with the striking corporate colours of the new image of the competition, was on show for the first time this Wednesday.

The UEFA Europa League is here with all its prestige. With the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán being prepared to welcome Standard Liège this afternoon, the team trained at the Old Nervión at the Ciudad Deportiva ahead of tomorrow's match. The new ball for the competition caught the eye, with its characteristic orangey-yellow colour that will be its corporate colour for the next three years.

Very little was given away by the coach during the time the press were allowed to be present, so more may be revealed at 13:30 when the press conference for the match begins at the stadium. His counterpart Michel Preud'homme will give his own press conference at 18:20, just before leading Standard Liège's training session scheduled for 7 o'clock this evening.
