Turn over a new leaf, learn from mistakes and get a good result this Tuesday in the Champions League against Spartak Moscow. Those were the aims of Nolito, as the Sevilla forward confirmed in the pre-match press conference this evening: "After what happened in the San Mamés we come here to play a difficult game, knowing that our opponent will make things difficult, like in any Champions League, League or Cup game. We lost in Bilbao and we don't want to lose again. We lost, and the team didn't play well in the second half and that's it. We're going to try and fix mistakes for the Champions League tomorrow, where you only face the best teams. What we have to do is compete this Tuesday and try to pick up three points".
On an individual level, the forward said he feels "better every day in training. I had a small injury, after the international break arrived... and as I always say, you have to try to be at your best so when the boss needs you, you make thing easy. I think the best is yet to come and I hope everything goes well for the rest of the season".
Asked if he had the desire to be back on Russian soil for the World Cup, Nolito said: "Well yes, that's the idea. Have a good season so I'm picked for the Spanish World Cup squad. It's hard, because the national team is at a very high level, but as I always say you can always dream. The first thing I have to do is do very well for my club and then if I'm lucky for the national team".
