The Sports Director of Sevilla FC, Óscar Arias, analysed Thursday's group stage Champions League draw with caution for the cameras of Bein Sports from the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco: "Whatever group you draw in the Champions League it's always going to be strong, but between the teams who were in the pots, it will be a tough group, but one with possibilities".

For Arias, "the important thing is that we are able to find our own level, the club is growing, we are taking steps to cement ourselves in the competition, now we have to measure up and compete as a Champions League team. We are getting there bit by bit".

He also said about Sevilla's opponents that "it's still too early to make a judgement, teams undergo important changes, we have changed players, coach, board members... everything has to go little by little to fit together".

Asked about the possibilites of making further transfers, he said "A bit still needs to be done to complete contracts, but the work is almost done".
