After having a rest day after the derby win in the Benito Villamarín, the Sevilla FC squad returned to work on Tuesday 12th November... although not in the way you'd expect. With the international break upon us, those who were not called up to represent their country took part in a paintballing session.
THE WEEK BEGINS WITH PAINTBALLING
From the training ground, the squad and the coaching staff went to Espartinas, where they had a slightly different training session with Surpaintball. The group split up into two teams, and fought over three different stages. The team that wins is the team who has the highest number of 'survivors' at the end. Of course, it was light-hearted and a good laugh, but the competitiveness of the players was still clear to see. They also celebrated the birthday of Koundé, who turned 21 today.
At the end, the team captained by Julen Lopetegui were victorious. The participants included Pablo Sanz (assistant coach), fitness coach Óscar Caro, goalkeeping coach José Luis Silva and analyst Ramón Vázquez. The players present were Escudero, Bryan, Fernando, Munir, Javi Díaz, Joan Jordán, Óliver Torres and Rony Lopes. After they had finished there, the squad returned to the training ground, where they had lunch. On Wednesday, they will be back on the pitch training.
