Extremely excited school children and a group of local journalists clung to the words of Guido Pizarro this morning as the midfielder gave an update on the team, which returned to training this morning: "I think we've been doing things well and we have to embrace that style of play - that intensity we didn't manage to find in our last La Liga game. We have important matches coming up to make up for that result and to improve the image of the club. We hope we can give everybody the results we all want".

The league situation is undoubtedly more difficult and it's now time to get down to business: "We're aware that there's a slim gap between those fighting for a Europa league place and I hope we can recover the ones we've lost. That way we'll finish of the season the best we can". Although, he ruled out the idea that competing with arch-rivals Betis puts any more pressure on: "Our biggest pressure is the aims of the Club. In the league we have to find consistency because we're fighting for Europa and we have different objectives to them. We're in three competitions and we have to do everything we can to win the cup for the fans, as well as trying to get through in the Champions League".

On clashes with Barcelona, he said the league showdown has to be seen as different to the Copa del Rey: "You have to separate them because in the league they've given themselves an impressive advantage and they can play with that. They're a team that dominate games on every field but in the Cup there will be a title on the line and it changes the dynamic. The impression we make on Saturday will be important for what comes after". To finish up, he didn't want to give so much importance to getting into the starting eleven against Bayern. "I've always dreamed of playing football no matter the game I need to play. I will try to give my best. I try to train to the best of my ability for when I'm needed. I try to train well for the team".
