FC PORTO-CHELSEA FC TO BE PLAYED AT THE RAMÓN SÁNCHEZ-PIZJUÁN

UEFA have confirmed this Tuesday afternoon that the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final between FC Porto and Chelsea FC will take place at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. The decision was taken due to the restriction of inbound flights from the United Kingdom to Portugal, meaning a new venue was necessary. The match, which will be Chelsea's second visit to Nervión in this Champions League, will be played on Wednesday 7 April at 21:00 CET.

There is also a chance that the second leg, scheduled for Tuesday 13 April at the same time, may also take place in Seville, meaning the Sánchez-Pizjuán could host both legs of a Champions League quarter-final.
