After a shaky first half against RC Celta, Papu Gómez and Óscar Torres were able to steady the ship with their well taken goals. Nemanja Gudelj was also in the midst of the action on Saturday, he had a few words to say after the game. Firstly Papu pointed out that "It's a unsweetened point because we were aiming to win in the second half. It's never easy to come back from 0-2, but I am proud with the way the team competed."
"In professional football you get punished for your missed chances, but if it was any other team against Celta today, they would've ended up losing. Us, we kept on trying until the end," said Óliver Torres. Torres kickstarted the comeback and later went on to hit the post which could have seen the comeback complete.
Finally, Gudelj commented: "I want to congratulate the team for the attitude it showed in the second half. We weren't performing at our best, we had very few players and it's important to recognise that. We are a family and we are going through a tough time. The fans gave us a lot of encouragement and support."
