BONO AND ISCO CONFIDENT THERE WILL BE A REACTION IN THE NEXT MATCH

Bono was the first player to make an appearance in front of club media after the defeat against Atlético. The Moroccan recognised that "before the match, the team was enthusiastic and full of hope, we badly wanted to get the three points and we played hard from the start, however, we conceded within the first half hour which made it difficult for us. We started the second half well, but that second goal knocked us back a bit more and from then on it was an impossible task. Atlético Madrid played in the typical Atléti way, defending well in the centre of the park and waiting for their chance which they inevitably took."

"We have to keep improving, understanding that these mistakes can cost you the game but also appreciating the lads' hard work because it's a tough situation to be in. It's not easy when you lose, but you just have to show a bit of character in order to improve. We have to support each other, and keep moving forward in a manner that will allow us to get results. I don't see anything else beyond that. We have to go into the next game with enthusiasm and a desire to compete and forget about our recent form. The focus has to be on getting back on the pitch and enjoying playing."

Isco also appeared to be in the same frame of mind: "We're disappointed with the result. We wanted to give the fans something to cheer about and once again the first goal was due to a lapse in concentration, but we have to stop making excuses and take responsibility for what we've done because otherwise, we've lost before a ball's even been kicked. Whenever we go behind we always start the second half with drive, motivation and dangerous chances, but then we allowed another mistake when we were at our best and allowed them to get the second."

"We have to give a lot more, the good thing is that it's early and there's time, but we have to start to improve immediately because I think we have a great team and hopefully the next match allows us to turn the page. The fans are always there, it's a source of pride to play here in front of the fans and we want to give them their first home win. We want them to keep doing what they're doing so that we can take care of the rest. We have to put a lot of heart and desire into it and hopefully, we can start winning some points here."
