Óliver Torres spoke alongside Diego Alonso at the pre-match press conference ahead of our vital Champions League match against RC Lens, in which we are playing to progress through to one of our favourite competitions, the Europa League. He spoke about the mood in the changing room ahead of the game, "it is true when the fixtures when released we did not expect to have been knocked out of the Champions League at this point but we still want to qualify for the Europa League. We know what this competition means for the fans and that it can give us the boost that we need I hope that tomorrow will be the turning point that we deserve."

On how to face a European game after a bad run of results, the central midfielder spoke about the mentality of the squad to reverse the situation: "It sounds cliché but nobody knows what is going to happen tomorrow. What we are thinking about now is our Champions League match tomorrow evening. We know that we haven't been doing well in all competitions, so winning tomorrow can only help us to be able to win on Saturday. We have had some very difficult moments, but last season we also had difficult moments. We have a good group of professionals in the changing room whose only aim is to get out of our current situation. The coach is our leader and he is the one who most wants to change things. The players are the main reason for where we are now and we and the ones who are responsible for turning it around."

To close, he spoke about the bad luck the team had faced during our bad run of form. "We look for why we haven't been able to win and it is true that some days the balls goes in and other days it just doesn't. We were winning perhaps when we didn't deserve to and now we don't deserve to have lost as many as we have. We know that we are the answer to win games."
