"I'm feeling a lot better and I just need to get game time"

After training this morning, Suso accompanied Julen Lopetegui in the pre-match press conference ahead of our debut in this season's Champions League against Manchester City.

Suso began by highlighting the effort it takes to get into the competition: "Now we will play in this competition that we fought so hard last year to get into."

"We're delighted to be in the best competition around and we will try to do our very best."

"After so much time out it's hard to get back into the swing of things. But I'm feeling a lot better now, training with the group and I just need some game time."

"We haven't started the season as we wanted, but last year we'd have bit your hand off to play against Manchester City in the Champions League."

"It's going to be a great game and we have to show that we are able to compete in this calibre of game. We're really excited."

"We're not in our best moment but things can change quickly in football. This could be the perfect game, with our fans, who are always our twelfth man. It's a great chance."
