Matchday 5 of this Champions League campaign has arrived and will be the last group stage game Sevilla FC play at home in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. The Nervionenses will be up against Frank Lampard's Chelsea FC with first spot in the group up for grabs with both teams on ten points. As the teams drew in their first encounter, the winner of tonight's match would mathematically qualify as group leader.

Julen Lopetegui's team welcome the London side in a great run of form, both in the Champions League and La Liga, having won the previous five games. The two wins against Krasnodar, home and away, were enough to qualify Sevilla for the last-16, and the team arrive to the match in a strong position in La Liga after the three points won against SD Huesca last Saturday. Tonight will be Sevilla FC's 100th European match at home, and the team will be sure to look to celebrate the landmark with a win tonight.

Chelsea arrive at Seville on an 14-match unbeaten streak, only losing once on penalties

The London side are also in a great run of form, with the team on a 14-match unbeaten streak (11 if you count the elimination on penalties in the Caraboa Cup), only conceding nine goals. They have only conceded one goal in the Champions League, last week's against Stade Rennais. Chelsea are third in the Premier League with 19 points, just below Tottenham and Liverpool.

Julen Lopetegui will have to come up with some solutions for his team tonight with Bono, Escudero, Acuña, Suso and Carlos Fernández ruled out, as well as Aleix Vidal and Joris Gnagnon who are not registered in the Champions League squad. Lopetegui stated yesterday that 'to finish first we will have to beat a team who could win the trophy itself,' while Vaclík, accompanying his coach, also spoke about Chelsea's quality.

The match will be played this Wednesday 2 December at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, with kick-off at 21:00 CET. The Portuguese Artur Soares will referee the match.
