Preview Sevilla FC-RCD Espanyol

SEVILLA FC ARE LOOKING FOR THEIR THIRD STRAIGHT LA LIGA WIN AT THE SÁNCHEZ-PIZJUÁN

After convincing wins against Rayo Vallecano and Valencia CF, RCD Espanyol are the third Spanish team to visit Nervión this season

Sevilla FC have a new league challenge this Saturday evening, practically 72 hours after beating Valencia in the midweek fixture. After the convincing win against Bordalás' side, RCD Espanyol come to the Sánchez-Pizjuán. Espanyol are one of La Liga's historic clubs and have returned to the First Division after suffering relegation in the 19/20 season. The last time they visited Nervión came days before lockdown in Spain and ended with a 2-2 draw.

Julen Lopetegui's team are fourth in the league, with a game in hand, sitting on 11 points. We will be looking to secure our third consecutive league win at home after wins against Rayo Vallecano and Valencia. In the pre-match press conference, Julen warned that Espanyol 'attack, defend and compete well - they are a dynamic and strong team.'

RCD Espanyol come to Seville with four points after overcoming two back-to-back defeats
