THE RAMÓN SÁNCHEZ-PIZJUÁN, ONE OF THE CANDIDATES TO HOST THE FINAL OF THE EUROPA LEAGUE IN 2021

UEFA have announced the eleven federations that have made bids to host the various finals of the club competitions in 2021. Among them is the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, which will look to host the final of the Europa League that year.

Sevilla's stadium will be up against the cities of Vienna, in Austria and Tbilisi, in Georgia, where Sevilla contested the final of the European Supercup in 2015 against FC Barcelona.

With the declarations of intent now on the table, the formal bids must now be submitted before the deadline of 15 February 2019. UEFA's executive committee will select the various hosts in a meeting that is expected to take place in the spring of next year.
