Following the match at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán against Granada CF, Sampaoli's men worked this Saturday at the Ciudad Deportiva. As is normal, those who played in the match completed a recovery session. Of those, three appear in the medical report, although they trained as expected in the post-match session. Vicente Iborra, with a contusion in his left fibula; Sergio Escudero with fatigue in his right hamstring and Nico Pareja with fatigue in his left adductor muscle. The Argentine, who completed the first half of the session on the pitch, combined that work with treatment for the problem that prevented him from finishing the match against Granada. Daniel Carriço, however, was unable to train with discomfort in his right Achilles tendon.
In other news, Vitolo was back on the pitch working on movement and mobility, as well as carrying out work with the ball. The Canary Islander is continuing with his recovery plan and will also train tomorrow. Both Adil Rami and Samir Nasri completed the session again.
The team will rest tomorrow and return to training on Monday at 10:15 behind closed doors at the Ciudad Deportiva.
