As with the charity race in aide of the fight against cancer in children on the 29th October, the Sevilla FC Foundation is backing another fundraising initiative that will take place in the Parque del Alamillo a week later. The ‘Muévete por la Esclerosis Múltiple,’ seven kilometer run will be held on Sunday 5th November.
Entry in the race, which has been organised by the Asociación Sevillana de Esclerosis Múltiple, will cost eight euros for adults and three for children, with those who can't or prefer not to run themselves having the option to wear number '0' if they still wish to contribute to the raising of funds. The race will be divided into several age categories: adult, veteran, youth, and infant.
This 10th edition aims to raise funds for research into multiple sclerosis. You can sign up on two websites: emsevilla.es and corredorespopulares.es. Multiple sclerosis is a neurological disease that affects the central nervous system, which is made up of the brain and spinal cord. In Spain, there are approximately 50,000 people affected, the vast majority of whom are women.
