SAMPAOLI: “I'M ONLY LOOKING AT THE SEVEN FINALS THE CLUB HAVE GOT”

Sevilla FC boss Jorge Sampaoli spoke to the press this Friday ahead of Sunday's match at the Mestalla, and was focused on putting together a strong finish to the season: "I only talk about the seven finals, about that commitment to Sevilla finishing the campaign up there, the player that listens to me every day knows that that's my mission".

The Argentine added that "being with my players every day makes us think that the team are going to fight until the end in the competition with six or seven teams to achieve third place. We need a tremendously committed group to get into the Champions League place, which is going to be very difficult. We have to think about third place, if we think about fourth, we'll be in the Europa League", he commented.

He also discussed how the team are after the victory over Deportivo: "Every victory creates a stimulus that allows us to get to the level that the team needs. The chance to rebuild the team on the path that took them to the top places. Also how they achieved that victory with the attacking drive they offered, will be very useful for the end of the season".
