Preseason is already officially underway, now that the first-team squad has started its first summer stage in Lagos, in the Portuguese Algarve. The expedition left the training village at around five o'clock in the afternoon, after having trained in the morning in Seville. The team arrived in Portugal just before 19.00. A gentle temperature of 22ºC welcomed the team.
SEVILLA ARRIVE IN LAGOS WITH 29-MAN SQUAD
Some of the hotel guests did not hesitate to greet the team on arrival, after which the players entered their rooms to rest before dinner. A total of 29 players will train under Julen Lopetegui for the time being.
The squad-list is as follows: Rico, Alfonso, Javi Díaz, Lucho García, Corchia, Carriço, Koundé, Diego Carlos, Wöber, Gnagnon, Aleix Vidal, Sergi Gómez, Escudero, Arana, Reguilón, Amadou, Roque Mesa, Jordán, Banega, Juanpe, Franco Vázquez, Ocampos, Mena, Pozo, Lara, Nolito, Munir, Dabbur and De Jong.
The team will stay this Sunday for its first two training sessions (10.00 and 19.00 hours) in Portugal, where it will stay until next Saturday. The team will then travel back to Seville to play their first friendly of 19/20.
