Sevilla FC and CaixaBank have signed an agreement meaning that the bank has renewed its contract as an official club sponsor. The bank became a sponsor in 2011, and has renewed for a further four seasons through to 2023, wanting to continue showing its support and commitment to the sport, the team and the fanbase.
CAIXABANK RENEWED AS A SEVILLA FC SPONSOR FOR FOUR MORE SEASONS
José Castro, the Sevilla FC president, and María Jesús Catalá, the regional director of CaixaBank in Western Andalusia, have signed the agreement. Catalá explained that "for CaixaBank it's a source of pride to continue being an official club sponsor, consolidating the closeness that we've maintained in recent years and reaffirming this support for the future until 2023. The Sevilla FC supporters will be able to keep enjoying the benefits and facilities so that they're able to support their team and enjoy matches at their stadium".
For his part, José Castro, Sevilla FC president, stated he was "very satisfied" at renewing the sponshorship until 2023. "We've been working for many years with CaixaBank and now we've agreed a further four years, what I want to say is that both organisations feel comfortable with this collaboration. The renewal of trust clearly shows that both parties are happy with the collaboration, which, hopefully, can continue for years to come", he indicated.
The agreement between both parties establishes the sponsorship of CaixaBank, thanks to which the bank will be able to rely on a series of payments regarding exclusive branding rights. The sponsorship includes advertising on Sevilla FC's means of communication.
On the other hand, the contract renewal means that Caixabank will continue to be the bank used by Sevilla FC for its financial operations and collaboration in other commerical areas will continue, such as the issuing of bank cards designed and personalised for Sevillistas. At the same time, the renewed contract between the club and the financial entity will allow Caixabank to develop and create innovative options aimed at fans.
